Hi! I'm Keenan.

Here is a little more about me. 

 

I'm a traveling documentary photographer. I'm a father, husband, brother and family man. I began my photography journey about 6 years ago. I had bought my first DSLR and wanted to just take landscape photos. I enjoyed driving around and finding beautiful scenes around the Black Hills to photograph. A friend had asked me if I could do family photos. I said I didn't really know how to and was pretty new to this. He said he'd give me $100. The rest is history. It just steamrolled from there.

 

I grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota and still currently reside here. I currently travel all over the United States photographing weddings and capturing moments. That will be coming to an end at the end of 2021. I'll still probably travel here and there when it fits me right but for the most part I'm going to stay local in South Dakota. I'm a documentary photographer. Lover of candid photography. A light chaser. I love when I can capture emotion, humor and the general atmosphere of the moment. Photography is much more than a photograph. It's a split second in time that can never be replicated but can hopefully be sealed on a print to last a lifetime. 

 

I'm always extremely privileged and blessed when you choose me as your photographer. There is no bigger honor for me in my profession.
